Crabby?

I think this outfit is appropriate because Henry has been a little crabby lately. Hopefully, it's just a phase that will pass like everything else. The only constant is change, which sure rings true with the newborn crowd. Again, I love the baby hats, and I'll keep putting 'em on for as long as he will wear them! This one is a little big, but it matches, so I can't resist!

Did You Know...

that in the Indiana Jones movies, Indy's real name is Henry?! No, our Henry isn't named after him (although I'm sure Chad would go along with that). Actually, Henry is named after his Great Great Uncle Henry, one of my Grandma's brothers. I'm told he was a wonderful man and the first to go to college in his family. Henry's middle name is James. There are two main reasons. One, Chad's Dad chose middle names for his sons from James Bond movies (Chad Ian for Ian Fleming and Eric Sean for Sean Connery). So to honor him we went straight for the main man himself, Bond, James Bond. Two, my Dad's name is James. Now doesn't that work out nicely?!

My First Trip to Grant's Farm

Well, I don't know about all this...I mean, yeah, my belly's full and all, but where am I? And they put me in my stroller like I'm a big boy or something, not in my car seat like usual. At least they gave me my little head pillows, they really help a kid out.

Oh, who am I kidding? I'm having a great time at Grant's Farm!

Here's one of my new friends, Ainsley. Her Mommy and Daddy (Kevin and Jen) are friends with my Mommy and Daddy. I think she digs my hat.

And here's Reiley! She's Ainsley's big sister. She liked riding in my stroller's backseat:o) We sure had a fun day, but it wore me out!

A Henry Sandwich!

We were in Jackson, Missouri for Mother's Day weekend visiting my family. Here is Henry being smooched by two of his cousins, Eva (6) and Eli (3)! My mom set up this photo op by putting Henry between them while they were watching a movie on her bed. By the way, Henry is now 2 months old! He weighs in at 14 lbs and 4 oz and is 25 inches long!

Me and My Boy

A rare shot of me and Henry! Usually I'm the one behind the camera. My friend Amy took this photo when we were on our walk last week. What a beautiful day!

Squeaky Clean!

Henry seems to enjoy bath time. We've had a few rough ones, but usually it goes smoothly. Last night he was being quite crabby, but when we put him in his little tub he just mello-ed right out. We were surprised! Soon after this picture was taken he started to cry again. Oh well...
