We joined our friends Amy, Carlos, and Jerard and lots of their family for dinner and the parade. We're always surprised how early folks put out their chairs for this event! It's
the place to be in downtown Belleville! We really get summer break started on the right foot. You can't beat good, old-fashioned, free, family fun!

Here we go! Oh boy, he's pumped about the first fire truck headed his way.
Clapping for the band or dancers or Shriner's...there was a lot of clapping and waving!

Dear Henry, You know who also loved parades almost as much as you do? Your Great Papa Bill! He especially loved it if the parade had horses. I hope you will always feel the joy of something as simple and traditional as a parade.
